Preparations Before Construction

Understanding Requirements

  • Determine the height range of the support and choose a suitable model.
  • Based on the soil conditions and environment, determine the load-bearing, waterproof and fire protection requirements and select the appropriate support.

Prepare Materials and Tools

  • Make sure the supports meet the requirements.
  • Prepare tools such as screwdriver, spirit level, etc.
  • Prepare floor coverings such as wooden floors, etc.

Consider When Building

Soil Preparation

  • Clean the floor and make sure it is level and free of debris.
  • If the floor is sloping, adjust the support to make the floor level.

Arrangement of Support

  • Determine the distance of 40 - 60 cm according to the materials and load capacity.
  • Mark the support positions to ensure a level floor after installation.

Assembly and Adjustment

  • Adjust the height of the support according to the ground conditions and requirements and check the flatness with a spirit level.
  • Install the flooring and secure it with brackets or screws if necessary.

Drainage Planning

  • The outdoor support must have a drainage function and the drainage holes must be clear.
  • Provide a drainage slope for roof terraces and patios to avoid water pooling.

Maintenance After Construction

Check Stability

  • Check that the floor is level and that there are no differences in height.
  • Check that the support is stable and does not become loose.

Troubleshooting

Attaching the Support to the Ground

  • If the adjustment height is less than 30 cm, the support usually does not need to be fixed.
  • Fastening by concreting, gluing with industrial adhesive, fastening with screws, built-in fastening

Treatment of Sloping Soils

  • Add a tilt adjustment device to the floor.
  • Use a support with automatic tilt adjustment.
